Dr. Pete Coury was born in Mesa, Arizona, and received his early schooling overseas. He attended undergraduate college at Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Sciences in 1994.

He received his Doctorate of Medicine Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1998. He completed his Residency training at Scottsdale Healthcare in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2001. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

During his residency training, he was awarded by the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians, the Grobe Award for Arizona’s Outstanding Family Physician Resident. He was also awarded the Humanitarian of the Year and Outstanding Graduating Resident by the Scottsdale Healthcare Residency Program.

Dr Coury is trained to treat patients of all ages and has added experience in Geriatric Medicine. He has passion and dedication for his patients, work, and the field of medicine.
